Andrew James (b. 1975, Knoxville, TN) works in a variety of mediums, focusing on projects that utilize technology to filter information into abstract visual and audial systems. He relocated to St. Louis in 2004 after receiving his MFA from UC Berkeley in 2003.  From 2008- 2013 he operated Good Citizen Gallery and Billboard project.  His work has been shown at Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis, Isolation Room, The Luminary Center for the Arts, Space, and The St. Louis Artist Guild in the St. Louis area, and at the Applebee Gallery at MacMurray College, Lump in Raleigh, NC, The National Ornamental Metals Museum in Memphis, TN, The Berkeley Arts Museum in Berkeley, CA and The San Francisco Arts Commission Gallery.
